What is Decemberfest?
Decemberfest is Elastic’s annual celebration of the holiday season. No matter where you are in the world or what you celebrate this time of year, we invite you to join us.
How can I find other Elasticians in my area?
Sometimes “distributed by design” means you might actually find an Elastician in your own backyard. Check out our Slack Directory for a listing of local channels and find your community!
Am I required to participate?
Not at all, but we hope you do! We don’t want you to miss out on the fun.
Can I bring a plus one or a guest?
Certain events have capacity for adult plus one’s to attend. Be sure to check in with your local Workplace Experience coordinator to see if your plus one can attend!
Can I invite customers to Decemberfest?
This is an internal event only for Elasticians.
If I attend a happy hour, can I still order a holiday gift?
Please do not double dip. Decemberfest has two great options on how to participate. Please only select one experience.
I live near an office or in a cluster community, but I cannot attend the event scheduled in my area. Can I order the gift instead?
Yes! We know It Depends, especially when it comes to busy schedules. If you are not able to attend a cluster happy hour or meet up with another Elastician to activate the allowance, you can order a holiday gift.
Can I expense travel to a Decemberfest event?
The beauty of Decemberfest is that it takes place wherever YOU are. So, you can be a part of the fun without leaving your local community. As such, no travel requests or reimbursements will be approved by Workplace.
I ordered my gift, but it hasn’t arrived yet. Where can I get help?
